María Isabel Naranjo got graduated as plastic artist in 2001 and finished as Master in History in 2012.

She has had participations in art exhibitions from 1999, some of them are: IX Regional Artist Room 1999; Diversity, Squarehouse Bogotá 2002; I National Scuplture Room 2004, XIV National Visual Arts Room 2005; Neighboring spaces MDE07, International Exhibition, Antioquia Museum 2007; National Culture Awards 2008; Art on the way of Antioquia Museum, 2008; Tallersito Gallery 2009; Presents, Imago House 2009; Artist Women, Itagui Antioquia,2009;  Art of Magisterio Room 2010; Presents, Virtual Art Gallery 2010;  Little Red Riding Hood I love you, Santiago de Chile Comfenalco 2011; 10×10 Eductaional Artists Bellas Artes 2011; Modes and processes, Heritage and culture institute of Antioquia 2011; Ethel Gilmour Tribute Sala U, Contemporary Art 2011; 40 National Visual Arts Room University of Antiquia.

Now she is doing a reasearching/creation Project in Visual Art Production Center, HANGAR, Barcelona.

She is teacher in Fundación Universitaria Bellas Artes, Medellín, and Director of Professional Plastic Arts program in the same University. She also teaches in Dressing Desing Faculty in Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana. She leads an investigation course in urban spaces: Plastic, of Bellas Artes.

Her artitstic languages cover scuplture, instalation and performance over all the techniques that depending of the different projects are also included, as relation’s art.

She also worked as actress from 1998 to 2004, finishing with International Theater Festival in 2004, Manizales-Colombia.
