Period of residence: 15.03.11-15-10-11
Mireia C. Saladrigues focuses his practice in the study of public roads and the conditions of reception that is exposed to the viewer. Often, their proposal is a provision for reflection and renegotiation of meaning in relation to art and culture, where knowledge is presented as a process rather than as a finished product.
The participatory nature of their emerging projects led her to investigate the role of the public and the mechanisms of reception of his work, but also show a general lack of discussion of logical thought after theorizing about art relational and contextual art participatory art. This is and has been the focus of most of its projects from “The Power of the Call”, a proposal that looked into the reasons why a person ends particpate (or not) in an art project.
