SCK (Smart citizen Kit)

SCK is a open source hardware. The prototype of which has been developed in Hangar in collaboration with Fab Lab Barcelona.
The project Smart Citizen is based on geolocation, internet and free hardware and software for data collection. In the future it will be also addressed to the production of objects. The SCK connects people with their environment and their city to create more effective relationships and optimized resources, technology, communities, services and events in the urban environment.
The SCK is an Arduino based electronics board, equipped with sensors for: air quality, temperature, sound, humidity, light. In addition, the board contains a solar charger, which allows to connect the board to photovoltaic panels so you can place it anywhere. The board comes equipped with a WiFi antenna that lets you upload data from the sensors on online platforms in real time.
The electronics have been developed between the Hangar Interaction laboratory and Fab Lab Barcelona. The first version was an Arduino shield board and the laboratories are currently developing the standalone version.
