Bruno Vianna completed a master’s degree in the Interactive Telecommunications Programm in New York (USA) in 1999. Since 1994, he has directed multiple short movies, such as Cafuné – disseminated under the Creative Commons License allowing viewers to re-edit it ; as well as Ressaca, whose editing is done during the projection through the use of a touch screen. This last work was awarded 4 prizes at the Cineesquemanovo festival (Brazil) and was shown at Elektrofringe (Australia), Cinelatino (France), and Piksel (Norway). Bruno Caldas Vianna presented his work during the Arte.mov festival (Brazil), Pixeleration festival (USA), Laboral Art Center (Spain), among others, and received the award Vida 13.0 from Fundación Telefónica in 2010.
