Tolerancia cer0 + Llamada al 0rden

Hangar (Sala Polivalent), Friday March 1 at 20h.
We present two performances by Leon David Cobo and Laura Llaneli, developed in the context of the Master’s Degree in Sound Art at University of Barcelona. Two works that speak of the moral dimension of artistic practice in two radically different ways, what seems the strictest formal complacency or the urgency to become aware of one of the worst tragedies that occur in our immediate social environment.
Llamada al 0rden by Llaneli Laura Llaneli is an action of variable duration in which the artist generates an inventory of the maximum number of items that can be listed in a space. This will generate a list, in alphabetical order, ranging from the most general to the most specific. This list is projected on the wall and is subject to minor changes.
Tolerancia cer0 by Leon David Cobo is a series of sound pieces, narrated by five Colombian women who were victims of human trafficking. They tell the story of a macabre episode in their lives, the experience of sexual slavery, a practice that continues to degrade the life of thousands of people around the planet. This document breaks the silence about this subject, and does so in a raw way, heartbreaking, uncensored.
