Events for each selected project: 1.

Result of the selection: at the beginning of September 2017.

IMPORTANT: Residence conditions

Hangar Sound is a platform for experimentation around music and sound that was born in 2011 with the aim of articulating the programming of various groups that for some years were linked to Hangar organizing activities independently. Although these groups address their interests in sound experimentation in a very different way, their approaches are complementary and offer a good sample of current lines of research in each of their respective areas.

Due to the great demand and the impossibility of scheduling all the events that arrive to us, it has been decided this year to formulate an open call to choose the projects that will be part of the programming of the next year.

We understand Hangar Sound as a space for proposals not only related to sound, since it could arise talks, presentations and everything that is part of the sound art and its dissemination in the most experimental fields of work with sound. Excluded are labels and proposals with a marked trend of Club or regular venues. In short, this call is for those projects that need a space to visualize new experimental streams as well as proposals without a circuit established in the city.
