First capsule: the ABC of the video – October 20th – Kikol Grau

In this first session we will recognize the necessary steps for the video execution: from planning to production, recording systems, edition and video formats. We will also get to know editing, converting and downloading programs, as well as platforms and websites where we can upload our videos on the internet.
Second capsule- Audiovisual resources and editing in experimental video -October 28th-Kikol Grau

Experimental video often uses internet, TV and cinema images… as ground material for the creative project. This session will start from practical samples in order to analyze how image treatment, its appropriation, distortion, joined to the audio, the color and the text, are useful tools for the experimental audiovisual creation.

Third capsule: distribution -November 3rd- Urgell Funollet

This session will consider the main strategies for difusion and distribution of the work. We will also get to know the main spaces for promoting the work (art centers, galleries, festivals, independent spaces), the online circuits and the net creation.

Fourth capsule: introduction to copyright -November 10th – Eli Lloveras

In this last session we will get to know the basis of the copyright law applied to the needs of the work of artists and creators. We will answer questions such as: What is Copyright? What is Creative Commons? How can I control the type of license that I want to apply to my work? Can I use material found in the net to carry out my work? What are the collective management organizations?
