The film-essay (or the dangerous way of mixing the personal with the present) by Andres Duque

This audiovisual creation workshop, promoted by the collaboration between Hamaca and Hangar, is aimed at those who wish to work on the form of film-essay as a means of expression. Digital art incites us to ask ourselves What does cinema do in these times? What remains of its relationship with reality? Why and why do I compulsively accumulate images on the computer? What can I do with them? Let us approach these questions using our own and other people’s images, give them a new meaning and free them from traditional narrative dictates, asserting our point of view on the world.cine-essay by its mutant form (mixture of fiction, documentary and experimental) survives effectively in the present audiovisual complex.
