El curso del Tiempo 1.0, by Xavier Hurtado

The development of this project consists of an electriconical and digital device, capable of automating and controlling a 16mm analog film projector EIKI. For doing so the Hangar’s Interaction Laboratory developed a digital system generation with variable frequency, a computer controled interface and a software. The software allows the user to collect sound in real time, scan it according to the needs of the application and send the information in real time to the control interface for modifying the illumination of the lamp and the rotational speed of the film projector. The effect of the interactive video in combination with the sound is developet from a complete analog tool – the tape film projector.
