Hephaestus’ Dream

Hephaestus’ Dream

Erick Beltrán

April 2015

In the artist’s own words, Hephaestus’ Dream is an installation with a changing geometric form, an investigation of the iconology of material, from the classical-mythical period of science and contemporary consumption. Beltrán begins with those original mythical icons and traces a course to the present. For this work the artist has used the service of construction, production and the interaction laboratory of Hangar.
