Sebastián Cabrera started his bachelor of art in the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (Lima, Perú), then he moved to Barcelona (Spain), where he got the bachelor degree on fine arts by the Universitat de Barcelona (Spain).

Between the years 2007 and 2009 he finishes an MA on Fine Arts called Produccions Artístiques y Recerca (Artistic productions & reaserch) at the Universitat de Barcelona (Spain).

By the end of 2009 he obteined the Fundació Guasch Coranty grant, and started a postgraduate studies called Video interactivo y digital (digital & interactive video) that took places between 2010 and 2011 at the Universidad Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona, Spain).

Through the year 2012 he was working on the art residency Experimentem amb L’art and at the same time at Oficina36 (Barcelona, Spain).

He worked on two solo show in Lucia de la Puente ́s Gallery (Lima, Perú) where he continued to work; the first one As Castles in 2010, and the second one Al acecho de la imagen (Stalking the image), in 2012.

Among his group shows are: Loop Festival (Barcelona, España), in 2009; Quince años. Lucia de la Puente Gallery, Lucia de la Puente ́s Gallery (Lima, Perú); Contextos Interèdia. Master Prodart, Teclasala (Barcelona, Spain), in 2010.

In 2011, Starring, Errequerre Gallery (San Sebastián, España) and Intermission, Asociación cultural KKKB (Barcelona, España). Swab Fair with Oficina36 (Barcelona, España) in 2012, and BYOB, Sala Luis Miró Quesada Garland (Lima, Perú) in 2013.

At the present time, he is a resident at Hangar (Barcelona, Spain) and he is working on a show for arteBA (Bs. As., Argentina) with the curator Pablo León de la Barra.
