Privacy Policy
The AAVC Private Foundation agrees to safeguard the privacy of personal data entered into its website, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union, approved on 14 April 2016.

Our webpages respect the “do not track me” feature inluded in browsers.

What we do with the information we gather
When you subscribe to our mailing lists we ask for your email address; when, as a resident artist, you upload a portfolio onto our website, we ask for your name and surname, as well as for your email address. When you fill out online application forms for grants, we ask for other personal information: address, telephone number, nationality… The reason we collect this information is so we can manage our services and handle online applications in Hangar, as well as comply with the Foundation’s legal obligations deriving from the legislation on the protection of personal data.

In accordance with the current legislation on data protection, the user hereby accepts that the personal data he/she provides to our website www.hangar.org will be added to a file owned by the AAVC Private Foundation, which will be saved appropriately, and for which we are responsible.

The AAVC Private Foundation agrees to comply with its obligation of secrecy regarding personal data, and with its duty to treat such data as confidential. It will take charge, for this purpose, of any necessary technical, organisational, and security measures to avoid its alteration, loss, treatment or unauthorised access, as stated in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union, approved on 14 April 2016, for the protection of personal data.

Anonymous Browsing
We only collect the following information from those visiting our website:

–    Internet addresses containing links to our website.
–    Number of daily visitors.
The information obtained is completely anonymous and cannot be associated with a specific user.
