Red Acts

Rec ACTS is an initiative promoted by the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC), Hac Te, Barcelona’s new Art, Science and Technology Hub, and Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation. The Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona (CCCB) and Hangar, centre for art production and research, together with these institutions, are launching the Barcelona node, which promotes the network. Other institutions all over Spain, such as Tabakalera in Sant Sebastian, will be gradually added later. The Red ACTS was created as a shared space to provide a fluid environment for collaboration between artists, researchers and institutions working at the intersection where art, science, technology and society meet.
