Francesc Ruiz uses the comic as the means by which he develops his projects. He has used it to form installations, sculptures and series. His work is so identified by comic, that he has even generated a self terminology: ‘Expanded comic’. It is a way to designate an specific form to do comic which consists in expanding it beyond the comic strips, occupying showrooms or proposing games implying viewer’s interaction.
