Manon Labrecque is trained in contemporary dance and visual arts. From 1991 he has created many videos, performances, photographies, sound installations and sculptures. He is interested in external and internal aspects of the body, as well as in the physical and psychological aspects of the human relationships.
Some of his best-known exhibitions are: Les antigravitationnels, (Manifestation Internationale d’art 6 de Québec, 2012) Manon Labrecque (Rimouski Museum, 2010); Mécanismes d’intérieurs (Dazibao Gallery, Montreal, 2008) and Les témoins (UQÀM Gallery, Montreal, 2003).
