Befaco
Befaco.org is a community driven DIY synth designers and musicians. A copyleft philosophy platform that has been created to support electronic musicians who like to build their own tools. It is a collective focused on the promotion of DIY culture applied to musical technologies and, more specifically, to the construction of analog synthesizers. It pursues to recover the musical techniques of the pioneers of electronic music that inspire modern visual programming to give them a new use from a contemporary perspective.
Their main activity are the workshops they teach all around the glove. A huge test playground where they can track each module being built by different Befaco users, get direct feedback from them and quickly improve each section with new ideas, develop new modules, or improving the existing ones. They also design synthesizers, build custom sound devices and restore vintage instruments.
