Rodrigo Villas’ work is found in street art and graffiti ambient. There is a work of multiple materials, scales and formats (from the wood to the fabrics, with a preference for acrylic cans) in his personages presentation. He works with clean forms and with pieces that sometimes are composed as puzzles (where the geometry and colour play the central role) and sometimes are reconverted into new characters.
There are many recurrent images: cloud cut-outs, boats and the presence of birds, that we can find as individual pieces and as flocks multiplied until the infinite. After many years of work, his birds are hanging on trees in Brazil, France, Germany, Italy, United States, England and Spain, among others.
