Marieke van der Lippe
Marieke van der Lippe, Leiden (Holland) 1965
Marieke van der Lippe is a documentary filmmaker and visual artist. In 1994 she graduated with honors from the Willem de Kooning Academy (Autonomous / Media Design). In 1996 won second prize in the prestigious Prix de Rome competition. She exhibits her work nationally and internationally.
Her work comes from respect on. The ontologies are of the present. Standing in society and act independently form a whole, “real thinking” is particularly important here. Real thinking is the interweaving of personality, daily life and moral insight, and that causes the friction which is part of it, thereby that, the individual is moving, is in motion, moves in between areas, and movement brings about.
Years of experience in making films for art institutions and debate centers (such as the Boijmans van Beuningen, Tent, Sculpture International Rotterdam, AIR, Center for Visual Arts, De Doelen, The Union Debate, INTI, Theatre Almere) guarantees quality custom. From consensus and active involvement can be translated almost every job in moving image. She is authorized teacher of visual arts and design, and followed a master in the arts.
