Ana Mas Projects -AMP-, the new project of the art gallery director Ana Mas, starts in the framework of the first Gallery Weekend. For the inauguration of the headquarters of Barcelona, ​​located in a former industrial building transformed today into a cultural center of l’Hospitalet, it has scheduled a dialogue between two artists whose work focuses on the spaces and materials.

“The conversion of the space into place is linked to its occupation by different bodies. While we usually understand the place from the habitability of space, Place, no emphasis is an exhibition that works the notion of place through the object and the physical dimension of the drawing. Focusing on the aesthetic potential of a material reality that condenses his own account, the exhibition offers an occupation of space from direct action and non representational on different materials in its becoming sculpture (C. Lucia Pino) ​​as well as from a physical outlook drawing whose possibilities and limits reside in the space it occupies (Irene van Mheen). ”
