Workshop The Borders of Languaje

A workshop related to the exhibition ‘In the First Circle‘, curated by Imogen Stidworthy and Paul Domela,organised by Foundation Antoni Tàpies, Can Xalant and Hangar.With Sandra Alvarez of Toledo, Paul Domela, Dominique Hurth, Imogen Stidworthy, Hajra Waheed. This workshop is born from the collective exhibition “In the First Circle” and aims to address some of the concepts and content it proposes. Central to these is the voice and spoken language, particularly in relation to questions concerning translation, thinking between languages, conflicts of communication which generate language, as well as ideas of opacity and relational resistance.

Calendar: Friday 3th of february from 16 to 20 h in Hangar. Saturday 4th of february from 11 to 18 h in Can Xalant.
