Mercedes Mangrané takes part in the collective exhibition “Caminar sobre el gel”
The artist in residency Mercedes Mangrané takes part in the collective exhibition “Caminar sobre el gel. Èpica i disfuncionalitat en la pràctica artística” that opens on March 7, 2018 at the Centre d’Art Maristany in Sant Cugat, which can be visited until 12 May. Curated by David Armengol, the exhibition analyzes the fragility and intensity of Herzog’s action – to move forward in an unstable, uncertain place – through a meeting between artists of various generations and backgrounds: Pauline Bastard, Luna Coderch, Rafael G. Bianchi, Lluís Hortalà, Fermín Jiménez Landa, Pere Llobera, Mercedes Mangrané, Dani Montlleó, Àngels Ribé and Irena Visa.
The project is a production of Bòlit Centre de Art Contemporani de Girona and Arts Santa Mónica, with the collaboration of M | A | C – Mataró Contemporary Art, Centre d’Art Maristany, and the support of Transversal Xarxa d’Activitats Culturals.
