Juhee Hahm. South Korea, 1987
Juhee Hahm is a researcher, designer and spatial strategist who focuses on bridging between physical and digital spaces. She works narrating and materializing the landscape of complicated connections through drawings, installations, video, experiences, or scenography. She studied spatial design, communication design and experience design in South Korea and the Netherlands. After studies, she continued her career in spatial strategy, and film production in Seoul, London, Rotterdam and Amsterdam based on multidisciplinary research. She thinks and analyzes through drawings, which is the process of the project and the communication tool, after all, it materializes into experience in physical and digital space to bring people together and make discussion.
Currently she is part of University of Underground, Sandberg Instituut, V2, ACED, VersPers, researching a relationship between human body, technology, space, city and its liquidity. As part of the research she is also researching empathic movement with Kensho Miyoshi, a PhD candidate from RCA. These projects speculate the future scenario of human position with technology.
