(Català) Crida a la participació d’exresidents en el procés de renovació del Matronat d’Hangar
Hangar is initiating a collective process to renew its Board. The process, as outlined in the bylaws, calls for the participation of various stakeholders to form a list of 16 potential candidates. This list will be put to a vote by the PAAC members on September 28, 2024, during their annual assembly. The 7 most voted candidates will become part of the new Board, along with 4 members from the former Board, making a total of 11.
Former Hangar residents are among the stakeholders involved in proposing 4 candidates. Therefore, we invite all former Hangar residents who have enjoyed stays of at least 6 months (as artists, collectives, projects, or resident researchers) to participate in the proposal of these candidates in the following way:
– Until Thursday, September 12 at 2 PM, by filling out the following form to register and propose candidates.
– On Monday, September 16 at 6 PM, an online meeting will be held to vote and reach a consensus among all former residents who have registered, selecting the 4 names that will be included in the list to be approved by the PAAC members. A brief initial presentation on the functions of the Matronato and details of the renewal process is planned, with the aim of facilitating the group’s decision-making.
This process is part of the update to Hangar’s bylaws, which has been carried out in collaboration with Hangar’s Office of transparency and good governance.
