HANGAR’S INTERACTIVE LAB AT SONARMÁTICA
From the 17th until the 19th of June, Hangar will have a strong presence
at Sonarmática, with the presentation of 4 works that have been
developed at our Interactive Lab, within the exhibition (Back
to) The Robots, curated by Oscar Abril Ascaso. The works are the
following:
– Surveillance Cameras: they are alive!!, by Ricardo Iglesias
This project has been made as a result of over a year’s research work. It is made up of a group of "live" robotic cameras that chase after people. The cameras record the visitors, and then projecting the resulting images on site and on the internet. You can see the project live via streaming at http://ricardoiglesias.net/iscs/live.html
– MIDI Violin and Metallophone, by Joan Vallvé.
These robotized violin and metallophone emerge as part of a project centred on the design and construction of an automatic musical environment.

–E-shoe, by Chicks on Speed and Max Kibardin
The Chicks on Speed’s "E-shoe" is the first high-heeled shoe-wireless guitar ever, and is the result of a collaboration between Siberian born designer Max Kibardin and Hangar.

Anaisa Franco is an artist in residence, as part of the exchange program between Hangar and MIS in Sao Paolo.
