PD4Wtich: Program algorithms and connect them to your modular
On September 4th and 5th Hangar will hosts the workshop PD4Wtich: Program algorithms and connect them to your modular, organized by the collaborating project Befaco.
The workshop consists of two sequenced and complementary sessions: in the first one, the Witch, the new hardware developed by Rebel Technology, programmable with the OWL platform, will be built. In the second, Xavi Manzanares aka Daax, will teach the rudiments of Pure Data and how to program algorithms for the OWL platform.
Practical information
Saturday, September 4th. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Construction and assembly of WITCH* and LICH* units.
Registration: 4Set + WITCH / LICH KiT workshop – 170 €.
Sunday, September 5th. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Sound Algorithms with Pd on the platforms WITCH* and LICH*.
Registration: workshop 5 Set [includes tutorials + examples + pdfs] – 50 €.
Registration and reservations: manu@befaco.org
You can attend the two workshops separately, or together -getting a discount-. The price for both workshops will be 200 € instead of 220 €.
*Developed by Befaco & Rebel Technology, these instruments allow the programming of sound algorithms with different languages in their firmware. It is possible to create standlalone instruments compatible with other Eurorack modules/other electronic instrumentation.
Note: Saturday’s session is for all those interested who do not have a physical unit (WITCH* or LICH*) and can take part in Sunday’s algorithm development workshop.
