Jenny Abouav’s artistic practice focuses on performance and installation. She questions the poetic and political aspects of resistance that are present in slowness, emptiness, silence and tremor, using spaces that she activates by bringing together body, sound, light and sculpture. Her fields of research and experimentation question the philosophical dimensions of the skin and of listening in order to make visible the porous echo between the body, the acoustics and the atmosphere of a space.
Jaco’s music offers us a glimpse of something located in the interzone between reality, dreams and dystopia. Bureaucratic fake news nightmares, unreal journeys, bitter reflections on human nature or thriller-like scenes in a video store are just some of the themes dealt with in some of his lyrics. The music is no less fascinating: usually led by percussion, the rhythm is accompanied by a plethora of soundscapes that take pleasure in a ride across the width of the sound spectrum, back and forth, back and forth, front and back.
The event will be carried out following all security measures.
