From Modelling to 3D Printing
The project in residence #Blendícete presents the workshop From Modelling to 3D Printing, given by Desi Quevedo. #Blendícete is a series of introductory workshops to the open source software Blender, with the aim of offering technical and creative tools generated through 3D modelling, giving students the basis to develop their own three-dimensional scene.
In this course we will be introduced to digital fabrication and 3D design in Blender, exploiting the potential of this open source tool in a DIY environment. The workshop consists of 8 hours of theory and practice divided into two sessions focusing on the creation and manipulation of digital meshes for subsequent printing. Participants will have access to technical support, 3D printers and PLA filaments (materials included) to create their final prototype.
