An introduction to 3D design and modelling
The project in residence #Blendícete presents the workshop An introduction to 3D design and modelling, given by Desi Quevedo. #Blendícete is a series of introductory workshops to the open source software Blender, with the aim of offering technical and creative tools generated through 3D modelling, giving students the basis to develop their own three-dimensional scene.
Combining creative techniques generated in CAD, this edition will introduce us to 3D design and modelling. The workshop will look at different modelling methods for creating and manipulating objects, exploring the different operations that can be applied in the programme. We will design our digital environments using modifiers with effects, lighting sets and materials from which to control textures and colour. The final image will be obtained by looking step by step at the different rendering engines of the programme and the manipulation of cameras with their options.
