Cristian Segura is one of the most complex artists of the current scene Argentina. Follows a line of work that includes a range of strategies related to the mechanisms and variability of contemporary art, always with a critical and reflective eye on the institutional field. His early interest in art led him to volunteer in museums at age 14, and thus become coordinator of exhibitions at age 19, and director of the Municipal Museum of Tandil at 23. His experiences circumventing the facts surrounding the museum work motivated him to create works of art in which outputs such issues. Explores notions such as conservation of artistic stories that were like home institution, dependence on political and public support, as well as the idea of permanence and preservation of the arts as a museum falls victim to its inadequate management, or poverty resources, and even when it is literally consumed by fire.
