The construction of Marc Serra‘s work starts from conjectures about the absurdity, the accident. By the artist, these are fundamental concepts to develop a critical position on the diverse “inputs” that we receive on a daily basis: the natural rhythm of life, the rhythm enforced by the media; the acceptation of an prevailing decoupling between the referent and its visual representation, the technology and its involvement in audiovisual communication.
