A talk with new media artist Lisa Kory Chung

Lisa Kory Chung is a new media artist who has spent the past year working on her research project "The Medium and the Mayhem" , whose aim has been to spend a year travelling in order to document all sorts of electronic art projects, including video, audio, programming, hardware hacking, net art, etc., trying to understand and contextualise the cultures where they have been made. The project has been financed by the Watson Fellow grant. During the past month, she has been working in Hangar with the Interactive Lab on the "Ada Machine" project. So far, "The Medium and The Mayhem" includes her travels in Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Japan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, India, Indonesia, and Spain.
During the talk, she will speak about her experience throughout the year, and go over some of the most interesting projects she has been involved in, as well as her experience in Barcelona.
