Interactivity and basic electronics for artists
Basic methodologies and techniques for physical interaction will be explained in order to explore the creative possibilities of communication between the physical and virtual world. The course will include a number of simple presentations where these techniques will be explained in a simple and straightforward manner.

Introduction to Digital Photography for Artistic Processes
This intensive course is for anyone who wishes to start looking into the world of photography. With it, we aim to give an overview – but with specific, practical and useful content- of the process of image making within a digital environment.
The choice of a digital camera, or the basic rules of composition when shooting a picture, as well as processing techniques and digital manipulation, are some of the subjects the course deals with, and which intend to bring closer, and put into perspective, the existing complexity of digital photography.

Introduction to Cameras and Lighting for Digital Video
The fundamental concepts of lighting and filming on video will be explored through this course. The students will learn to prepare and use a video camera correctly, its parts and functions, as well as the protocol of filming. They will be in contact with basic materials, techniques and resources for lighting, in order to gain control of light in their recordings. The aim will be to understand the importance of light as a fundamental expressive element in all audiovisual works.
