Bruno Faria is an artist trained in Visual Poetics at UFMG (Brazil). He has conducted independent (PIESP) School Sao Paulo, coordinated by Adriano Pedrosa and Ana Paula Cohen during 2013 and 2014. In 2007 obtained the degree in Fine Arts.
He has made several solo and group exhibitions both. As for the most recent solo exhibitions has made “THE END” in the Northeast Chamber of Visual Arts in Recife (2014), “Guidelines for a new perspective” on Nabucco Foundation in Recife (2013), “Point de Vue “in the Banco do Nordeste Cultural Center in Fortaleza (2010). The group exhibitions include: “There are schools that are cages and there are schools that are wings” at the Museum of Art in Rio, in Rio de Janeiro (2014), “Hall April 70 Fortaleza de Arte” – EC XV Exhibition of Visual Arts Christmas (2013), “Bikini Wax” in Leon, Mexico (2012), among others.
He has also received several awards including Outstanding Achievement Award for Contemporary Art Funarte (2014), the PIESP Award (2013), Securities and Exchange Award Hall of Pernambuco Research 48 (2012) or Ibere Camargo Award (2011).
