Ariadna Guiteras presents Hacer pan, como follar / petra óleum

On April 1st Ariadna Guiteras presents Hacer pan, como follar / petra óleum in the frame of Zoinks, by Sabel Gavaldon.

An exhibition is a door next to another one. A hallway with a dozen doors leading to a garden of forking roads. Instead of starting with a theme (which would force us to be consistent), this exhibition wants to take the form of a mental experiment. It is about rehearsing as many ways as possible of not meeting on an exhibition, on the basis that the lack of synchronicity and reciprocity are a necessary condition – and not an impediment – to the aesthetic experience. From basins to the roof and from the kitchen to the stair hole, ZOINKS! spreads along a vertiginous day by several spaces of the Civic Center of Sant Andreu, unfolding with a serpentejant and discontinuo format that remembers the persecutions of the cartoons.

This exhibition has been made from a free selection among all the artists who presented themselves to the Visual Arts Competition Miquel Casablancas Award 2016.
