Revolución Horitzontal Podcast

This audio track arises from the development of Irene Mahugo Amaro in the curatorial research grant
Encura VI, in which she explores strategies for a Horizontal Revolution. Together with other artists and researchers, she reflects on illness, vulnerability and rest through creative thinking, artistic practices and the sharing of experiences as tools to challenge the ableist system.

Here are some fragments of the process: conversations on accessibility and crip time with Asun Pié Balaguer and Antonio Centeno, and various artistic interventions that took place at the public openings in Hangar and Casa de Velázquez, among which we find the performative reading by Romina Casile and Olivia Funes Lastra, and the Manifiesto tranquilo, the result of the workshop by Costa Badía and Clara López, read collaboratively by the participants. All this is intertwined with fragments of Bella Báguena’s concert and, in total, is mixed/post-produced by Lucía Depaoli.
