(within the framework of collaboration between the UPF and MUAD-HANGAR)

Activities aimed at artists and researchers interested in the new geo-narrative genres with game dynamics.

Includes: deconstruction of the development process of interactive performance Chronica Mobilis, debate on the subject and practice of Deep Listening through the streets of Poblenou.

The activities are free. Enrollment in the project website. Those interested can choose to participate in the entire program or if you prefer individual sessions.

PROGRAM:

Poblenou Intangible: practice deep listening.

(13th, 16:00 to 18:00 I limited participation to 20 people)

Through practical exercises based on Deep Listening be invited participants to open their perception stimulated by the proposal to hear. They performed in small groups walking routes designed for themselves. The technological tools used to record the sounds further expand the experience and facilitate the creative process. At the end of the workshop, each group will share sound recordings and insight into their creative application in Chronica Mobilis performance.

New narrative genres in debate: geolocation and games.

(day 14, 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. I open participation)

Locative and mobile technologies has stimulated the emergence of new narrative forms. Different ways to create content. Different ways of experiencing the stories. The city becomes a diegetic space and mobility of the body essential. What’s new? As you might define these new formats? What are the challenges? How are you issues will be discussed in an open public debate. Will be presented recent artistic experiences in this context, especially the performance Mobilis Chronica, its narrative and gameplay.

Mobilis Chronica deconstruction: technological and operational solutions.

(14th, 18:00 to 20:00 I open participation)

Mobilis Chronica creators do a deconstruction of interactive performance. They have all the technological tools used to: streaming video for mobile, real-time text communication, VJing, registration and dynamic display of GPS coordinates on maps. It will be on a demonstration of the dynamics of the performance and operation of the whole technological system used.
