The artist in residence Rafael Pérez Evans participates in the seminar A secas. Artistas Andaluces Ahora organized by the Centro Andaluz de Arte Contemporaneo on November 17th and 18th.

This project seeks to be a place of meeting, exchange and debate that promotes knowledge of artistic production and activity. It is also a way to collaborate in the approach between the various segments of the artistic system for mutual knowledge and the possibility of creating different networks.
The project proposes various ways to know and make known, as well as trying to provide attendees with some tools that can serve in the development of their activity. During these days there will be an eminently practical content workshop that will talk about production, promotion, exhibition, galleries and fees. Along with this workshop we will attend two conferences and two round tables on unconventional artistic spaces and on production spaces in the Spanish state. In addition, artists selected through open call by other artists, critics and curators will have a platform to teach their productions. Finally, those who wish it among those enrolled at A Secas will have the possibility of holding brief meetings with professionals to share ideas and knowledge.
