Vicente Vazquez Peleteiro

Baden Württemberg – Catalunya Exchange Grant

June - July 2023

Since 2001, he has been working both collectively and individually under different names in the fields of visual arts, film, contemporary dance, and performance. Trained as a visual artist, his contributions in the areas of the “time-image,” object production, the visual, the auditory, and the conception of the social have been presented in public and private institutions, both nationally and internationally, as well as at film festivals.

In 2013, as an extension of her collaborative practice, he co-founded Tractora Coop, an artist cooperative based in Bizkaia. The aim was to formalize already existing working relationships among its members. Over time, it has become a support structure for their own artistic projects, as well as for those of third parties who share their values and interests.

As a result of these synergies, the publishing house -zko was established in 2018. Its mission is to bring to light and distribute works situated at the intersection of art and other fields of knowledge.
