Hangar collaborates with Eufònic Urbà
Hangar collaborates with Eufònic Urbà making it possible for the project developed within the framework of the Research and Experimentation Grant in the Hangar Interaction Lab 2020 to be presented at the festival. Therefore, the winner of the grant and sound art experimenter Lina Bautista, will present at Eufònic Urbà the artistic installation Kilobots, developed in the field of open source technology thanks to the Grant in the Hangar Interaction Lab.
The Kilobots project aims to investigate algorithms of collective behavior of species, link them to parameters based on algorithmic music and apply these algorithms to a swarm of small robots, in order to create an installation work.
Eufònic Urbà reaches its eighth edition in 2021, presenting its dialogue between sound, visual and digital-performance arts in various spaces of Arts Santa Mònica in Barcelona. The urban extension of the Terres de L’Ebre festival will celebrate, from February 4 to 6, a dozen performances and interventions, in addition to inaugurating the art installations, which can be visited until February 28.
