On April 14th, Hangar presents the first session of this year’s edition of Rarefacció, a listening cycle curated by Sergi Botella that is part of the Audio Formal/Politics of Listening research line and aims to present proposals revolving around music and sound from an experimental and unconventional point of view. Laura Llaneli
Her work explores the relationship between sound production and experience, language and contemporary visual art practices through exhibitions and live performances. She focuses on the impact of variation on stable patterns and structures in certain cultural products, testing the endurance of language as code or sound as social icon.

Nueen
Nueen, aka Nacho Pezzati, is an Argentinian composer raised in Mallorca and based in Barcelona. His sound drifts through a luminescent and recurring warm atmosphere, endlessly fluidic and delicate pads, recombining rhythms where multiple temporalities are juxtaposed.Over the years, Nueen has developed a highly personal style –profoundly intimate yet immediately giving onto distant space-times. His dub-ambient embroiled sound has been released on labels such as Good Morning Tapes, Quiet Time, Balmat and APPX:. He has recently released his latest  record, Link, on 3XL, run by Special Guest DJ.

dAAX!
His direct approach is based on building different physical and/or programmed instruments for each performance. As a result, a symbiosis is created with generative widgets for which it is impossible to predict exactly what will happen.
