Alexandra Navratil studied Fine Arts Degree at Central St. Martins College in London between 1999 and 2002. Later, between 2006 and 2007 she obtained MA in Fine Arts at Goldsmiths College, London. Throughout her career she has had solo and group exhibitions. She has also been in residence during certain periods of time in Barcelona, Vienna, Dublin and New York.

Solo exhibitions include: Plunge / Soar, CCS Centre Culturel Suisse in Paris, Plunge / Soar BolteLang Galerie in Zurich, Resurrections, Dan Gunn Gallery in Berlin, This Formless Thing, SMBA, the Stedelijk Museum Bureau Amsterdam, Time Lags in Real Time in Amsterdam, The Searchlights That Dazzled the Stars, angels Gallery in Barcelona, The Eternal Return of Difference, Galeria angels in Barcelona or Your Face Consumes my Dreams, Mies van der Rohe Pavillion, LOOP, Barcelona. The most recent collective exhibitions: Anarcheologies, curated by Alena Alexandrova, Ensapc Ygrec, Paris, Plastic Age, ARE-Foundation, Munich, I Prefer Not To, Galerie Esther Donatz, Munich, Post-Production, Van Horbourg, Zurich, Cinema, Voorkamer, Lier, Belgium or 25th Image Festival, Toronto.

She has obtained number of awards: Manor Kunstpreis Zürich, Swiss Art Award, Mondriaan Foundation The Netherlands Project Award, Award from the Cultural Department of the Canton of Zurich Basisstipendium Fonds BKVB in the Netherlands, Swiss Art Award, Prix Mobilière Young Art, Award, MUSAC Contemporary Art Museum of Castilla & Leon, and others.
