Alberto Gracia uses video, installation, essays, cinema, punctual actions, performance, etc… through tools as sound pieces, interactivity, sculptural pieces or drawing. The element he uses to formalize his projects is the irony, as a result of combining game and experiment. On the other hand, he raises the artistic event from the (im)possibility, reflecting on the fortuitous (and, therefore, the accident), as well as the catastrophe as a show. Another aspect to consider, is the place of the representation scene, understood as a distended media between the extremes real-virtual, and science-fiction.

His career has been developed mainly in Barcelona, showing his works in spaces like La Capella, Can Felipa, Sant Andreu or CCCB, amongst others. He has also worked and exhibited in Austria, France, Morocco, as well as in Gijon’s Laboral or the Deputation of Pontevedra.
