Sergi Botella‘s work deals with everyday life, and underlines the complex affective and emotional mechanisms that define our daily routines. A strategy that allows him to test fictional structures that cannot be separated from what is real an true. It is an ongoing narrative system that uses the artist’s personal experience as a starting point, as well as the relationships and influences that emerge from his immediate surroundings.
