Responses, a workshop by Irina Botea

Dates june 10th. to June 17th. Hours: from 3p.m to 6p.m. place: Hangar

Still from auditions for a revolution, 2006

The artist would like to work with a group of people (anybody interested to participate is welcome) to create a series of small performances that reenact  and propose different models of personal and public protests. The work will be made in negotiation with the participants, a collage of movements and words that questions how can a protest be effective. For this the participants will watch footage and images of different protests in the area, as well as in Barcelona. The final product will be a video that will be presented in  Prague during the MOB festival.

The reenactments would be made on location (in the Poble Nou area) Each session will start with some centering (focusing and trusting) exercises, inspired from  Augusto Boal.

For further information next Wednesday, June 8th at 6pm, Irina will meet in Hangar with people interested to participate in the workshop.
