HANGAR-FONCA/CENART (Mexico) & HANGAR-EL BASILISCO (Argentina) GRANT SHORTLISTS ANNOUNCED

The Hangar Programme Committee convened on May 22, 2008 and decided to shortlist the following artists, from a total of 61 submissions, for FONCA/CENART in Mexico:
1. Ana Matey, 2. Antonio Ruiz Montesinos, 3. Carmen Nogueira, 4. Karmelo Bermejo, 5. Marta Fernández Calvo, 6. Olaia Miranda, 7. Oriol Sánchez, 8. Antonio Menchen.
We will soon be announcing which artist has been selected by the FONCA/CENART jury. (1st week in June)

The artists shortlisted for EL BASILISCO, from a total of 67 submissions, are:
1. Alba Mayol, 2. Annegien van Doorn, 3. Antonio Ruiz Montesinos, 4. Antonio Menchen, 5. Karmelo Bermejo, 6. Nuria Marquès, 7. Paula Valero, 8. Veronica Aguilera.
We will soon be announcing which artist has been selected by the EL BASILISCO jury.
