Shortlisted Artists for the residency grants for Japan, Korea and Mexico

After meeting on the 18th of May of 2011, Hangar’s Programme Committee has decided to shortlist the following artists:

Hangar-TWS (Japan) grant. 92 applications were received, of which the following artists were shortlisted:
Ariadna Parreu, Axel Koschier, Blaise Perrin, Samuel Labadie, Mariona Moncunill, Pablo de Soto, Pau Faus, Ricardo Iglesias, Vicente Luis Vázquez.
3-month residency from the 20th of September to the 20th of December 2011

Hangar-SAS Geumcheon (Korea) grant. 76 applications were received, of which the following artists were shortlisted:
Alba Mayol, Avelino Sala, Guillermo Pfaff, Jaime de la Jara, José Begega, Mariona Moncunill, Verónica Lorenzo, Vicente Luis Vázquez.
3-month residency from September to November 2011
*The final decision will be announced on the 7th of June.

Hangar-ADM (Mexico) grant. 99 applications were received, of which the following artists were shortlisted:
Alba Mayol, Axel Koschier, Natalia Marín, David F. Mutiloa, Esther Planas, Fermín Jiménez, Karlos Martínez, Lúa Coderch, M. Angeles Alcántara, Santiago Taccetti.
3-month residency from the 15th of September to the 15th of December 2011
*The final decision will be announced on the 23rd of May.
