Nowadays, he’s a visual communication teacher in Universidad Centro, a member of the planning and evaluation council of Transitio_mx (a meeting for the electronic arts and video), he takes part of the electronic arts project Dorkbot in Mexico City and he is the artistic director of VOLTA, sessions of sonorous improvisation and experimentation.

Juan José’s work has been shown in different international festivals in Germany, Argentina, Canada, Spain, United States, Japan, Portugal, Morocco and Mexico, and he has also collaborated and sheared scenario with musicians and sonorous artists as: Elliott Sharp, Zeena Parkins, Ikue Mori, Joker Nies, Bloodyminded, Angelica Castello, Burkhard Stlang, Dan Deacon, Drew Daniels, Manrico Montero, Rogelio Sosa, Arthur Henry Fork, Mario de Vega, Alfredo Borboa, Antonio Dominguez, Ricardo Dorantes, Remi Alvarez, Fernando Vigueras, Tuna Pase, Tiffany Defoe, Andrea Neumann, Wobbly, Shayna Dunkelman, Gary Smith, Billy Roisz, Isabelle duthoit, Chris Cogburn, among others.
