Konic Thtr (Alain Baumann, Rosa Sánchez)
Konic Thtr is an artistic platform based in Barcelona dedicated to contemporary creation at the confluence of art and new technologies. Its activity focuses on the use of interactive technology applied to art projects. It is recognized internationally as a pioneer in the use and incorporation of interactive technology in creative projects. Their proposals have been in Catalonia, Spain, Europe, America, Asia and Africa. Konic Thtr investigations over more than two decades have allowed to develop a personal and unique language in the field of contemporary creation.
Both Alain Baumann and Rosa Sánchez have a long career in relation to the new technologies applied to installation, performance, dance and theater. Rosa Sanchez is a multimedia and multidisciplinary artist, performer and choreographer, artistic director and co-founder of Konic Thtr. Alain Baumann is a musician and multimedia artist, and is responsible for the development of interactive systems used in projects Konic Thtr.
