Tallers Oberts Poblenou 2017
Hangar has been participating for years at the TOP ( Poblenou Open Workshops), an initiative that was created by different spaces of creation and exhibition of the Poblenou district with the intention of showing all the public the artistic potential of the area. The centers that participate this year in the TOP are: La Escocesa, Nauart, Zona – Factoria d’Art, Hangar.org, Gabriel Schmitz, Stay Hungry Stay Foolish, Hi-jauh USB?, Art Corner, MQ Creative Lab, Uno de 23, Chez Xefo, Jiser Reflexions mediterrànies, Taller de Luz, Kind of Cyan, La Lope, L’estoc, Niu, Quadrat 9.
These twenty centers fill the line up of proposals during September 15th, 16th and 17th, coinciding with the Poblenou Festa Major where you can see the residence in the neighborhood as a form of resistance, the art rooted in the territory and the proximity and constant exchange of the different creative nucleus, which together generate an artistic universe of its own. Industrial art, plastic arts, music, visual arts, design, dance, critical thinking, artistic research and technology at the service of art are all disciplines that take place in the Poblenou Open Workshops, drawing a stable, horizontal and collaborative line, important and powerful for the city with international connections.
