Jara Rocha shows “The Transition”

Known as “the Transition“, the period that followed the fall of the Romanian communist regime at the end of 1989 constitutes a nebula of socio-economic transformations. But what is really a transition ? In terms of physical experiences we are passing through so much thresholds during the day, such as doors, crosswalks, arcades, bridges, from sunset to nightfall: what can be the inner resonance of this.

Migration and self imposed identity re-engineering are tools more at hand for those who stopped believing in collective salvations. You could accelerate your personal transition toward a free market economy by emigrating. If you cannot wake up from the transition trance you might as well try another dream.

We don’t know where the transition movement is leading us: through some other states, to some other movements; this duration is moving us. The transition trance recounted with the support of food and animation.
